The Continuing Adventures of Desert Dave

Here are few shots from this weekend. This is one of my favorite places - the Tehachepie Mountains. Grass and scrub oak. Free range cattle. All kinds of stuff. They just re-paved this old country road, so it makes a nice contrast against the golden grass.

The Tarantulas are out "lookin fer love". Late summer and fall are the seasons for them. "Why," you may ask, "is the tarantula on a mirror?" Simple: Had me a tarantula... had me a mirror!
